Q. Is the oil really cold pressed? Is it mixed with any expeller oil?
Hathi Brand mustard oil is extracted using ‘Kohlus’. No additional heat is added into the extraction of the mustard oil. It is also 100% mustard oil without the addition of any other oil or substances.
Q. Where can I find the expiry date?
Expiration date of the product is 9 months (270 days) from the date of manufacture. This expiry date is for its plastic packaging and not the oil itself.
Q. Is this refined mustard oil?
No, the oil is not refined. It is pure Kacchi Ghani mustard oil.
Q. Can I use this oil for hair? Can I use it for massages?
Yes, our mustard oil is 100% pure and is beneficial when applied on hair and skin.
Q. Why does your oil have a higher price here as compared to in shops?
The reason for the higher price online is two-fold. There is a sizable shipping cost, and e-commerce vendors charge some amount for each order. Because of these two reasons you will see that bulk packages are a lot closer to the in-store price as compared to individual units.
Q. How to use this? How to apply?
It depends upon the usage and size of pots. We suggest using a handful and ploughing the soil afterwards.. Alternatively, you can also make a fertiliser tea. Plant uptake of nutrients is faster in water form. Apply one cup (approx. 25-30g) for every 12 inches of pot diameter; Please start with small quantities and see how your plants behave. Q. Can I use these for flowers? Microgreens?
Mustard cake is widely used as a fertilizer for flowering and vegetable plants, including microgreens. It is very rich in protein and provides many micronutrients to your garden plants. It can also aid in preventing diseases and makes your garden plants very healthy.
Q. What is the shelf life of the product?
The product doesn’t have a specified shelf life, but in our experience if properly sealed the nutrient content is good for at least 24 months.
Q. Does this leave a residue after application?
No, the product does not leave a residue after application, It completely dissolves in the soil or water
Q. How long will it take to deliver?
The product’s delivery time varies based on the location it is to be delivered to. Typically the product is shipped within 1-2 business days from the time of order confirmation.
Q. What’s the cancellation policy for my order?
In case you have a change in mind just after making the payment, you can drop an email at ecom@bpoilmills.com with your order number. As long as your order has not been dispatched, we can cancel it and refund your amount, after which the return policy will apply.
If it is a COD order, a system generated cancelation email will be sent to you after the order has been cancelled. As long as your order has not been dispatched, you can cancel it directly.
Q. What is the return policy for the products? Can I request replacements?
We do not take returns. We only do refunds or replacements for damaged or missing goods. To request a refund or replacement, you will have to fill out this form. We would need you to add pictures of the product and the order. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the receipt and status of your refund process and next steps.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a store credit or account transfer of the full amount will be sent to your email address within 48 hours upon the receipt of the product. In case of a refund in your bank account, it will be processed through a UPI transfer and the COD charges are deducted.
